The Bairdi Crab is a true delicacy. It is also called the Queen Crab. This combination of the Alaskan King Crab and The Queen Crab is our new Combo. Many Alaskans eat both at the same time mixing the meats together. By whatever name it’s called, Snow, Bairdi or Queen Crab, this diva is delicious. The Alaskan King Crab is know for its taste. Both crabs are pre-cooked and ready to serve! Just warm up for a few minutes! The Bairdi is about twice the size of Opilio crab and hence has more meat and less shell. Most of the Alaskan Bairdi Crab is sold to Japan. Bairdi is the very large species retaled to Opilio .Bairdi Crab is the Giant Alaskan Snow Crab. Bairdi was is not well know in the local US markets as there has been strict fishing regulations until 2006 that prevented Bardi Crab fishing. Bairdi Crab likes the shallow water of the Aleutians and Bering Sea.
