Jumbo Sea Scallops
Introducing our new Jumbo Size Wild Sea Scallops! These Jumbo Scallops are the largest graded size available; U10, which means that there are less than 10 scallops per pound.
Jumbo Sea Scallops live up to their reputation as the world’s finest by being delightfully mild with subtle flavor. These Jumbo Sea Scallops lend themselves to dramatic appetizers or entrees and large size and exceptionally firm texture make them ideal for grilling. Like all other Wild Seafood from Alaskan Harvest we add nothing to the natural products!
Why on earth would anyone add phosphates to scallops? So they'll absorb more water!
Because our large, cream-colored scallops are frozen quickly (no phosphates, thank you), they remain firm, plump and sweet no matter how you prepare them. They are consistent in size appearance, flavor, texture, and freshness. What's more, they are hand-shucked, size graded, packaged and quick-frozen to lock in the flavor. When you choose Alaskan Harvest Scallops, you can be sure that they are 100 % natural, with no artificial treatments or additives. Sea scallops are an excellent source of high-quality protein but at the same time being extremely low in fat. They are also high in desirable omega-3 fatty acids!
