These were the worst Dungeness Crab Cakes I have ever seen or eaten.
They were more like appetizers. They are not 1/2” thick and 2 1/2” around. I cooked two and they didn’t even taste good and had very little crab meat.
The crab boats are coming into ports and they have a good supply of crab meat but the boats are only getting around $2.00 a pound. Grocery stores are selling Dungeness crab for around $6.00 a pound. Sounds like the middle man is making a haul!
Whoever you buy your crab cakes from I would strongly suggest you find a new supplier!

They need more lump crab meat and they need to be twice as tall. We’re from back east north east near Maryland we love snow crab legs. And Maryland blue claw crabs but we also like a lot of crabcakes with more crab meat… Standard at the Jersey shore
